Short version: the tool runs in your browser. We do not ask you to create an account, we do not collect your images, and we do not sell data. The detail below explains exactly what does leave your device and why.
1. Who we are
Downloader.pics ("we", "us") operates this website and the free image downloader tool on it. For privacy questions, contact ⟨LEGAL ENTITY NAME⟩ at support@downloader.pics.
2. What we do not collect
- No account, name, password or payment details — there is nothing to sign up for.
- No copies of the images you download. Fetching, resizing, compressing and format conversion all happen locally in your browser; the image files are never sent to us or stored on our servers.
- No history of the product URLs you have used tied to you as an individual.
3. What is processed when you use the tool
a. The URL you paste
To read a page your browser cannot request directly, the URL is passed to a fetching service so the page HTML or product data can be returned to your browser. Depending on how this site is deployed, that is either our own server-side fetcher or, as a fallback, a third-party public request proxy — currently api.allorigins.win and corsproxy.io. Those third parties receive the URL you pasted and your network request metadata, and handle it under their own privacy policies, which we do not control.
b. The image files
Images are downloaded from the source site's own CDN directly to your browser. Where a CDN blocks that, the same proxy fallback is used to retrieve the file. The file is then processed on your device and saved by your browser.
c. Server logs
Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard request logs — IP address, timestamp, page requested, browser user agent and referring page. These are used for security, abuse prevention and diagnosing faults, and are retained for ⟨RETENTION PERIOD, e.g. 30 days⟩.
4. Cookies and analytics
The tool itself does not require cookies to function and does not use cookies to track you across other sites.

We use Google Search Console verification on this site, which does not set cookies on visitors.
5. Legal bases (UK/EU visitors)
Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we process the limited data described above on the basis of our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving a free tool, and — for any analytics or advertising cookies — on the basis of your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
6. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. Data is shared only with: our hosting provider; the request proxy services named in section 3 when a page cannot be fetched directly; and any authority where disclosure is required by law.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold, to object to or restrict processing, to data portability, and to complain to your local data protection authority. California residents have equivalent rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. Because we hold almost nothing tied to an individual, most requests can be answered quickly. Write to support@downloader.pics.
8. Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
9. International transfers
Our hosting and the third-party proxy services may process requests on servers outside your country. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
10. Changes
We may update this policy as the tool changes. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
