Download Etsy listing images at full resolution

Etsy serves listing photos through its own image CDN, and the size is baked into the filename. What you see on the page is usually a resized copy — il_75x75, il_340x270, il_794xN — rather than the file the seller uploaded. This tool rewrites those to il_fullxfull, so you get the largest version Etsy holds.

How to save photos from an Etsy listing

Open the listing, copy the URL from the address bar (it contains /listing/ and the listing number), paste it above and press Fetch images. The listing's photos appear as thumbnails with their real dimensions. Tick the ones you want and download them individually or as a single ZIP.

Why the size in the filename matters

Right-clicking and saving an Etsy photo often gives you a few hundred pixels — fine on screen, useless for anything else. Because Etsy encodes the dimensions into the URL rather than resizing on the fly, the full-size file is usually available at a predictable address. The downloader constructs that address for every photo in the listing.

Keeping your own shop's photos

The most common legitimate use is recovering your own work. Sellers regularly lose the source files — a phone replaced, a laptop wiped, a photographer no longer contactable — while the photos are still live on their listings. Pulling your own listing images back down gives you usable copies for a website, a marketplace listing elsewhere, or ad creative.

Resize and convert for other platforms

Different marketplaces want different sizes. Set a maximum width and a format before downloading and every photo is re-encoded in your browser in one pass — useful for preparing a listing set for a website, a Shopify store or a social post without opening an image editor.

Copyright on Etsy, plainly

Etsy photography is the seller's own creative work and is protected by copyright the moment it is taken. Using another shop's photos in your listings is infringement and a policy violation, and Etsy acts on reports. If you want to sell a similar item, take your own photographs — or ask the seller in writing and keep the reply.

Frequently asked questions

How do I download photos from an Etsy listing?
Copy the listing URL, paste it into the box above and press Fetch images. The listing photos are listed and can be saved individually or as one ZIP.

Will I get the full-size photo or a thumbnail?
The full-size version. Etsy puts the display size in the filename, such as il_75x75, and the tool rewrites it to il_fullxfull to request the largest file available.

Can I download photos from another seller's listing?
Technically the tool will fetch what the page serves, but those photos are that seller's copyrighted work. Using them in your own listings is infringement and breaches Etsy's policies.

Is it against Etsy's rules to save my own listing photos?
Saving your own photographs is not an issue, since you own them. The rules concern using someone else's images without permission.

Do I need to log in to Etsy?
No, and the tool cannot log in. It only reads what a listing page shows publicly.

Can I convert the photos to WebP or resize them?
Yes. Choose a format, maximum width and quality before downloading and every photo is converted locally in a single pass.

Note on usage: Etsy listing photos are the seller's own work and are protected by copyright. Use this for your own shop, or with the seller's written permission. Copying another seller's photos into your listings breaches both copyright law and Etsy's policies.
